RBI sets rupee reference rate at 66.3618 against US dollar

The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.3618 against the US Dollar and 74.6902 for the euro.
These rates were at 66.5469 and 74.1665 respectively on September 06, 2016, RBI said in a notification.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 89.0376 and 65.46 per 100 yens respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
